Terms of Service

Last updated May 26, 2026

1. What dots.id is

dots.id is an identity layer. You create a single "dots" identity — anchored to a wallet and verified contact methods — and use it to sign in to third-party applications, carry portable context, and spend shared credits. By creating a dots or using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

Your identity is created and secured through our authentication providers (including a Privy-managed wallet and Supabase-issued sessions). You are responsible for activity under your dots and for the credentials, wallets, and emails you connect. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Connecting apps

When you authorize a third-party application, you grant it the specific scopes shown on the consent screen (for example your username, email, wallet address, or credits). You can review what you have authorized and what each app accessed in your activity log. We are not responsible for how independent apps use data you choose to share with them.

4. Credits

"pute" credits are a prepaid balance used to access compute and features across dots apps. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable except as we provide, and are generally non-refundable except where required by law. We may correct balance errors and reverse fraudulent or erroneous transactions.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use dots.id to break the law, infringe others' rights, abuse or attempt to circumvent the authentication, credit, or rate-limiting systems, or impersonate others. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or risks harm to users or the service.

6. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, dots.id is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

This is a starting template, not legal advice — have counsel review before launch. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.
